Spencer & Kristen’s wedding day at the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple was as beautiful as they come; full of sunshine, beautiful temple grounds and tight knit family. I got the chance to meet Kristen’s family the week before the wedding for an extended family session near Ogden and fell in love with the whole lot, Spencer & Kristen included. I couldn’t have been happier when they invited me to photograph this lovely day just over a week later. In fact, since they were all together in Utah for a family reunion and all the family just happened to be gathered, these two decided they could just move up the wedding date and that’s just what they did. Flowers, dress, photographer and all! Spencer & Kristen, thank you for inviting me to share your wedding day with you. You are both total gems!
Being invited to photograph and see wonderful families like the Sneddon’s sealed together is nearly impossible to top. Really, look at each of their faces… they are a family that glows. So beautiful, inside and out! I’ve known the Sneddon family ever since moving to the Ogden area and it was incredible to see the amount of love, excitement and support from neighbors, friends and family as they all gathered to celebrate this special day at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. The grounds were incredible. The family was beautiful all dressed in white and it was just a few short weeks ago. Lori, I hope we captured your vision. I am SO honored and so very happy for you and your family.
Senior pictures for Riley were simply delicious! Riley is as sweet as they come and is such a classic beauty. How do I get so lucky to photograph such amazing seniors. Cream of the crop! I don’t think I was anywhere near as gracious when I was her age. I am so impressed by her sweet nature and it was so fun to play and tease just a bit. Her clothing choices were perfection… love this girl’s style. Having her mom along for the session was also so fun. Once I found out what a close pair Riley and her mom were, there was no way I wasn’t getting them both together in a few photos. I think my last minute request for mom to step into the photos surprised her mom but the images are priceless. So happy to have snatched a few. Riley, you are beautiful inside and out!
Meet Amy, my darling friend and one beautiful bride! I’m so happy to be able to share all her images now that the wedding day has come and she and Ethan are husband and wife. Amy wished and wished for lots of lovely snow which is a perfectly good wish for a winter bride but our mother nature had a different idea. So, we made our way to the Capitol in Salt Lake City for her bridals. I am so pleased with the results… love the wintery feel of her one-of-a-kind, swiss-dot dress and frosted purple roses. Aidan and his family joined me when fall colors were in full array and we had a wonderful evening playing and creating some very fun, very memorable family pictures. Kristena, your ideas were absolutely top notch and added such a sense of playfulness to your session. It was perfect! Perfect for a boy! Nothing is quite as fun as capturing pure personality and Aidan, you are just bursting with it. What better way to have fun throughout a photo session than to bring along frogs, balloons, tickle fights and wagon rides all evening long. I walked away from this session full of chuckles. So fun! Kristena, thank you, thank you for inviting me to photograph you all. So happy to have your images in my portfolio! Hope you love what we captured.
Family photographs with Mike & Christa’s little bunch was and has always been such a treat! I met this little family before little brother joined the family and was so happy to get the chance to have them in front of my lens again. My heart and my lens are captivated by their beautiful session and faces. Christa did an incredible job of picking her family’s clothing for this session and when we were planning the session, Christa mentioned that there was this lovely piece of property right behind her mother’s home. The day of the session, weather could have gone either way. We held our breath and when the session time arrived, we went for it and were beautifully rewarded with this touchable soft, dreamy session. Oh, I do love how it all came together. Thank you mother nature for the beautiful romantic gray clouds and to Mike & Christa for inviting me to capture your sweet little family once again.
I can still remember meeting this darling family the first time I photographed them for family pictures… Greyson wasn’t part of their family yet and it’s been so fun to watch this beautiful little family grow. Now here we are with a beautiful, new, little addition to the family – meet Greyson! He is one totally adored, completely handsome, going to be a great baseball player some day because daddy is, newborn. Every time I am privileged to photograph newborns, I get swept away by their completely perfect tiny features and their glowing ‘fresh from heaven’ skin. The day we got together for Greyson’s session, it was a bit overcast but no worries… we just opened up the windows for some soft, beautiful window light and away we went. Want a chance to glimpse this sweet family in their other sessions take a look at their wedding and their family session.
Had the neatest opportunity to practice my wedding photography skills and learn some fantastic new business practices with the ever genuine and oh so talented, Abbey Kyhl. It was an incredible two days at the beautiful Thanksgiving Point of pure business & wedding awesomeness. Running a photography business and balancing my desire to be a great mom has been challenging. I LOVE photography and LOVE my clients but when it comes to being a business guru… that is where I lack and that is where Abbey’s Evolving workshop has already blessed and will continue to bless Little Lottie Photography and all of you as my clients. Abbey’s business arsenal comes chuck full with streamlined ideas and processes to run a photo business like a boss while maintaining a genuine style and relationship with clients. Abbey is completely genuine and such a blessing to the photography industry. She builds and blesses every client and every photographer she comes in contact with and I count myself absolutely blessed to have had this wonderful opportunity to learn from her. She is my photography business mentor for sure! Feeling invigorated and blessed. All vendors for this event listed below.
A great big thanks and shout out to the incredible vendors who helped create a beautiful styled session: Thanksgiving Point for the venue. Jacki Miller for incredible custom designed invites, place cards, thank you’s, etc. Alex Crabtree for lovely hair and makeup. Something Vintage Something Blue for the classy car. Mark Keysor Videography for fun and candid video coverage of the event and Sugar Patch Cakes for two of the loveliest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen.
Great to be 8 session for darling, sweet as they come, cute as can be Jane… coming soon! Here’s a peek!
This was an evening of pure fun for me… photographing this darling couple. Nick & Kacee are soon expecting their first baby… a girl! Aren’t those pink shoes to die for!? I met Nick & Kacee in the winter of 2013 when they booked my services to photograph their extended family who were getting together for the holidays. You can see that session here. We had a fantastic time laughing and shooting and right toward the end of the session, Kacee and her sisters decided they wanted something special… that’s when I found out that Nick & Kacee were expecting. So excited to see time march on and to get to photograph these two as such an incredibly special time in life. Kacee & Nick, you two are going to be great parents! So happy for you both. Enjoy!
