How does one get so lucky to photograph such an incredible couple in such amazing light… engagement sessions like this keep me dreaming all through the night.  Yes they do! 😉 The light, the scenery, the green of spring… perfect. Meet Ryan & Keelie, set to be married this month at the beautiful Beehive House in Salt Lake City. Such a fun evening with these two. We squeaked out a few family photographs in the beginning and then dove right in for the last bit of the session to capture these beautiful set of engagements. Seriously can’t wait for their wedding day and so happy to have their beautiful smiles here on the blog. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Making their appearance on the blog today with their lovely, sun filled engagement session is Matt & Kirsten. What a great looking couple! Definitely love birds… :) I have loved working with these two who are set to be married ‘oh so soon’ in the Brigham City LDS Temple. Can’t wait for their wedding day. Early spring engagement sessions are some of my favorites. Everything is just emerging. Colors are vibrant and the light is so soft and romantic. It doesn’t get much better than this. Matt & Kirsten did their engagements in one of my all time favorite spring locations, a little local orchard. This little spot never fails to yield simply beautiful images and light. :) Enjoy!

So pleased to share a few from Zac & Ivy’s family photo session from earlier in the fall.  We met at a local park, bright and early… early enough that the sun hadn’t yet poked it’s head over the mountain.  I assured Ivy that the early hour would be worth it if her little ones were pleasant little morning people.  She assured me that they were and that we’d have much better luck early morning than the evening.  So, we went for it!  It was CHILLY! So chilly that the grass was covered by a heavy coat of glistening frost and it crunched under our feet. However, the little ones were troopers and Zac & Ivy’s session turned out to be a favorite fall session.  Loved the look of the frosty covered green.  A perfect match to their navy and green ensemble. :)  Ivy, so glad we went for it.  Hopefully all those chilly memories have faded into wonderful, warm enjoyment of these beautiful family photos. 😉

Meet the Alexander Family, home all together for Christmas this year and celebrating the occasion with a crisp, winter morning, family photo session. Absolutely love meeting and photographing families just like the Alexanders… so down to earth, full of laughs and so much fun. We may have frozen just a bit but they kept me laughing the whole way through.  Yep, loved them all for sure.  Kacee, so glad you found me and I hope that you and all the family find several images to love!  Alexanders, you’re welcome in front of my lens any day!! :)  Such a pleasure photographing you all.

Keeping up with a promise I made earlier in the year, today I’m sharing Circe’s beautiful family.  Circe’s girls will melt your heart like they did mine.  Such a beautiful family.  Such a beautiful session.  Makes my heart happy. I feel like celebrating!! Put me down for what I’d consider another fabulous year here at Little Lottie Photography. :)  It’s December and the last of my 2013 editing for all families, brides, babies & seniors is done.  If we’ve worked together this year and you gave me the privilege of photographing you or your family or both, I hope you’re enjoying your images and all we captured together. Looking back over the year I feel like cheering.  Such a great year full of lessons, chuck full of wonderful people I’ve met through photography and who I now call my friends…. thank you, THANK YOU!  I’m off to celebrate the holidays with family and I’ll see YOU in 2014!! :)

Love to welcome this beautiful family photo session to the Little Lottie blog today. Meet Troy, Rachel & Ella; this family has stolen my heart this week! Watching them through their session was just magical.  It’s easy to see they love and adore each other.  They came with the perfect amount of love, humor and patience to create a beautiful atmosphere for their session and it paid off.  Love everything we captured. Love the fall color.  Love the mint green and gray against the red brick. Love the expressions, the affection, the family. LOVE darling, sweet cheeks Ella!  Is she not just the cutest?? Family sessions like this are simply delicious! Enjoy!

John & Melissa’s engagement session was a perfect mix of soft light, fall colors and two beautiful people completely in love. Add in a dash of great humor and we had a very fun evening showing off their love.  Both John & Melissa are from Indiana. John is currently working at Weber State while Melissa is finishing her degree back in Indiana.  When they found me, Melissa was coming to Utah to visit and because they are such an outdoorsy kind of couple, it was only natural to take their session to the Utah mountains.  So glad we did.  This engagement session has such a beautiful feel and I’m so excited to pass on a few of my favorites for you all to enjoy. :)  John & Melissa, I’m honored to be a part of this incredible time in life for you both.  Thank you!

Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session in Salt Lake City, Utah was one of the most unusual locations I’ve worked at to date AND I loved it!  A group of artists in Salt Lake City have filled this long length of wall with their work and it created the bold, striking backdrop we had envisioned for these two love birds.  I knew from this first session with Daniel & Kaylee that I was going to love working with them and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day.  Really, I have the most amazing clients… REALLY wonderful people.  So, fun location, great couple, amazing light… can it get any better than this? :) Love these two!

It’s about time for this newborn photo session to make it’s way here to the blog.  The Scariano’s are an incredible couple and now… family.  They have waited many a patient moment for their own little miracle and finally… this beautiful little boy has graced their family.  Meet Tyson!  Could mom & dad look any happier or more in love! It’s evident that they will bless this little miracle baby’s life and anyone they meet along the way.  I loved this session and spending the day with Jenn & her hubby. I do believe that I have some of the neatest clients ever! :) Enjoy!

Hope is my beautiful friend and this is her gorgeous family photo session.  So happy to share it with you all here on the Little Lottie blog. Hope’s family is simply wonderful. We met up at a local beach. They stepped out of the car and instantly I knew the session was going to be magical.  The sun was preparing to set over the mountains and the clouds were already reflecting a soft pink hue. Destined to be magical evening light… something I love for any session for sure. Sully, their sweet labradoodle was obedient as could be and wa-la! LOVE this family session and can’t wait to use this location over and over again for family portraits, newborns, engagements… you name it, I’ll shoot it here! New favorite location! :)
