Here’s the second half of Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session.  These two were married this past weekend and I can now share all these beautiful engagement images… and shout from the rooftops what an amazing couple these two are.  She’s a massage therapist and Daniel is an Engineer (Daniel, correct me if I’m wrong) …there’s way more to both of them but let’s just say they’re two smart cookies.  They are kind, down to earth, smart, funny and quirky.  Their perfect amount of ‘silly’ kept me laughing all through their engagement session and was completely endearing.  When we parted ways, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day because I knew it was going to be fabulous and I was right! 🙂 Stay tuned for a sneak peek into their wedding day at the LDS Salt Lake City Temple.

Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session in Salt Lake City, Utah was one of the most unusual locations I’ve worked at to date AND I loved it!  A group of artists in Salt Lake City have filled this long length of wall with their work and it created the bold, striking backdrop we had envisioned for these two love birds.  I knew from this first session with Daniel & Kaylee that I was going to love working with them and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day.  Really, I have the most amazing clients… REALLY wonderful people.  So, fun location, great couple, amazing light… can it get any better than this? 🙂 Love these two!

Meet Katherine.  A beautiful woman, mother, bride AND my cousin.  Love this lady! We met at the State Capital for some bridal images of Katherine and a few images with her darling girls to remember this beautiful occasion, Katherine’s wedding.  What a treat!  Working with all these beautiful ladies was a dream.  Each so beautiful and each with just a piece of their beautiful mom written somewhere in their countenance.  I loved every minute of our time together and hope that you find many to love as well, Katherine.  Your girls are amazing and beautiful and so wonderfully lucky to have you as their mom.  Thank you for allowing me to capture these beautiful moments for you.  Enjoy!

Photographing weddings allows me to meet some pretty wonderful people and their families.  I have loved working with Jonathan & Naomi, from their first session with me to celebrate their engagement all the way through to their wedding day.  I have to confide that when Naomi’s mom, Diane, left me with a box of chocolate iced cake donuts the day of Naomi’s bridals, she made it to the top of the charts.  How did she know that’s my favorite flavor? 😉  Then there was meeting both families the day the of the wedding which only convinced me further that I get to work with some of the best!  Of course, I couldn’t mention the families without mentioning the bridesmaids and groomsmen.  They have a way of keeping the bride, groom and myself just rolling.  Best moment… when Naomi and her girls broke out dancing.  Just classic! 🙂

Enjoy a small peek into Patrick & Angela’s wedding reception at the vibrant and beautiful, Ogden Hilton Garden Inn.  Rich, vibrant and beautiful in every way.  I have a new favorite! 🙂 Thank you for a very fun evening and for being such a fabulous pair to get to know.  You two deserve the very best.  Enjoy!

Josh & Emily met up with me last year to photograph their engagement photos.  We had a grand time tromping over town.  Soon after the wedding, we chatted about an idea… Josh & Emily wanted to document their first year of marriage in photos.  I jumped at the chance because they are just fabulous people.  We’ve spent time in the mountains for their first session in the Fall.  Today, I’m sharing their images from their winter session.  And yes…. we did skate… photographer included!  The fine gentlemen at the rink said I couldn’t set foot on the ice unless I was wearing skates… well, that was it.  There was no way I was going to photograph from the sidelines. 🙂  It must have been quite the sight.  Anyway, Josh & Emily are just as in love and comfortable in front of my lense as always and we captured some really fun images.  These guys are adorable – a total treat. Enjoy you two!

It was a beautiful wintery day for Thomas & Tiare’s wedding day at the LDS Timpanogos Temple.  Typically, winter weddings can be a bit bare but I think that Tiare and I were both so pleased to have a fresh blanket of white; the effect for this wonderful couples wedding day is unique and elegant.  It is now my new favorite winter wedding to date!  All the family and friends were just as welcoming and warm as the happy couple.  It made for a wonderful day of photography.  Love getting to celebrate these happy occasions with such choice people, their family and their friends.  Congratulations, Thomas & Tiare… your wedding day was just as beautiful as they come and with such wonderful people surrounding you, life can’t help but be good!  Enjoy!

Thomas & Tiare held their wedding reception at the BYU Skyroom after they were married at the beautiful LDS Timpanogos Temple.  What a celebration! The evening brimmed with fantastic entertainment and a lot of magical moments.  They held a sit down dinner for themselves and all their guests which is such a lovely way to spend the evening.  There were several wonderful stories about Thomas & Tiare, a short ring ceremony, an enchanting duet, roasts of the bride and groom, a knee smacking song about peanut butter and jelly, the BEST first dance I believe I have ever seen, a sweet cake cutting and a very classy exit.  Such a great evening for such a deserving couple.  Thomas & Tiare, thank you for inviting me to photograph this incredible day for you. You and your families could not have been warmer or more welcoming.  It was such an enjoyable evening. Best wishes in your new life together.  I hope you enjoy what we captured. 🙂
