Kimberley is eight and so excited for her baptism at the first of the new year.  Her mom & dad set aside a special day in preparation for Kimberley’s baptism.  They drove to Salt Lake City where they met me for a very special photo shoot around the Salt Lake Temple.  Even though the weather was chilly, Kimberley was glowing and did such a great job in front of the camera.  She just bubbles over with happiness and all things sweet and good.  I am so happy for her, excited for her special day and honored to be a part of her preparations. Dan and Bobbi, you are raising one beautiful gal…. inside and out.  Thanks again for a fun morning, all of you, and enjoy!  Kimberley, you’re the tops!

I met this darling family just a few short months ago when their youngest was born and we did a newborn session together.  You can take a look at his images here.  That seemed like just yesterday but now he’s full of character and all kinds of charm.  Isn’t his hat just the tops!?  Love the hat, LOVE their style and love this wonderful family.  We spent the evening downtown and found some great color to compliment their clothing choices.  Fall temperatures beat us to our final spot and by the time the balloons came out, the little ones were done… :).  Ah well, we still caught a couple cute group shots.  Great job you guys and EnJoY! 🙂

Coming ‘oh so soon’, the Ericksons… man what a good looking family! 🙂

A quick post today for a dear, sweet family with extended post coming soon! 🙂  LOVE this beautiful family and LOVE their session!

Love being a family photographer when I get to photograph families that I love, adore and admire.  The Poll’s are just that.  We had a fantastic evening up the canyon with the fall colors in full display.  These darling girls gave the autumn colors a run for their money with their vibrant, energetic and beautiful smiles.  Such wonderful, sweet girls… inside and out!  The canyon winds picked up just a bit as we began to shoot which made for some very elegant, magazine moments and I loved every bit of it.  What a great session.  Just love this dear family to pieces. Enjoy, enjoy!

This was a fantastic evening for family photos with Lindsay and her beautiful little family.  Lindsay invited some special family members to assist with their session… Grandma & Grandpa.  It was the perfect, magical combination. 🙂  Little Jamie, who is celebrating his first birthday, was smiles all evening long and I just couldn’t help myself.  With camera in hand, I snapped far too many cute shots for my own good and then I had the task of choosing from those hundreds… I was smiling all the way.  This session is a beautiful success; one I’d want myself.  Love that cozy, evening light and Lindsay, your clothing choices were fantastic… perfect for the location.  Hope you love your session as much as I do.  You have a beautiful family!

Family photography can be hard work at times but the results are always well worth the effort.  I got to spend the evening with Mark & Rachel and their two little sweethearts.  Sweetest family ever!  Big sister wasn’t too interested in hanging around the camera but like I told Rachel… all it takes is a few magical moments when little ones forget that the camera is pointed in their direction and all of a sudden you’ve got a handful of vibrant, tender expressions that makes my ‘mom’ heart just melt.  I always know that when I want the images I shoot (but of my own kids), it’s pretty likely that my dear, sweet clients will love them just as much!  Enjoy Mark & Rachel’s session and feel free to leave a comment or two. 🙂

Loved this family session with the Larsens.  They were brave and ambitious enough to wake up before the rest of the world and be ready for the camera by sunrise! 🙂 Wow, what troopers! Well, it was a blast and it paid off.  Their two little sweethearts (both with the most beautiful eyes) were darling. The lighting on the lake was beautiful and even.  How could you not get great shots!?  And, Christa, I am now officially in love with the salmon, cream and blue color palette. 🙂 LOVED your clothing choices… you have a great set of photos.  Enjoy!

Oh sweet, 5 pound, newborn Mason with all that darling dark hair!  What a champ!  Shooting newborn photographs with Kallea and Mason just couldn’t have gone better.  Kallea has wonderful extended family with some fun property that has a heap of fantastic photography props and spots.  I’m just a little jealous ;)… although, we were able to utilize some of it and I loved every minute of it!  Mason’s little nursery has a farm theme and so the hay and brick and fields fit the theme nicely.  Then there was little Mason, such a sweetheart boy.  He was fast asleep and easy as could be to pose and photograph… really couldn’t have gone any better.  Kallea, thanks again for a fun afternoon and enjoy all we captured! 🙂

Can I just say how much I enjoy newborn photography with beautiful, natural window light.  Yumm!  It’s so beautiful and fun to capture families and newborns in their most natural environment.  Love it!  Little Logan is such a darling little sport and I have a good idea that he’ll have no shortage of opportunities to pick his favorite since his papa loves ALL sports! 🙂  He’s a lucky little guy and Niki, you are a fantastic and beautiful mom.  Thanks for inviting me to be part of your family for a day to photograph your sweet, new Logan.  Enjoy what we captured and we’ll talk soon!
