A quick share of an Autumn senior session I did with Mikaela, Class of 2014. Isn’t she just a doll? 🙂 Love photographing seniors. Life is so full of exciting possibilities and there are bound to be all kinds of changes when the rest of your life is before you. 😉 For Mikaela’s session, we traveled up North and kept our eyes open for any little spot that fit our fancy.  Mikaela brought along her guitar and I brought along a funky little retro chair. We ventured through trails and out into clearing and found beautiful fall color everywhere we turned. Such a perfect match for Mikaela’s ‘fall’ colored hair and eyes, don’t you think? 🙂 Congrats sweetheart… life is going to be good!

Say hello to this beautiful little newborn Claire. I’m excited to share her lovely little newborn session here on the blog today. Loved my time with Claire and her beautiful momma. Claire was as sleepy and easy as they come which is always wonderful. Her mom and I played dress up for a bit and Claire happily obliged! We kept it cozy and warm for her. It was such a fun, wintery morning and don’t you just love that holiday hat in the lower images? Claire’s got one talented mommy for sure! I may just have to get a few of these darling little hats for my props collection.

So pleased to share a few from Zac & Ivy’s family photo session from earlier in the fall.  We met at a local park, bright and early… early enough that the sun hadn’t yet poked it’s head over the mountain.  I assured Ivy that the early hour would be worth it if her little ones were pleasant little morning people.  She assured me that they were and that we’d have much better luck early morning than the evening.  So, we went for it!  It was CHILLY! So chilly that the grass was covered by a heavy coat of glistening frost and it crunched under our feet. However, the little ones were troopers and Zac & Ivy’s session turned out to be a favorite fall session.  Loved the look of the frosty covered green.  A perfect match to their navy and green ensemble. 🙂  Ivy, so glad we went for it.  Hopefully all those chilly memories have faded into wonderful, warm enjoyment of these beautiful family photos. 😉

So happy to share a few of Troy & Rachel’s wedding day photos today here on the blog. The happy couple exchanged vows just a few days ago at the beautiful Canterbury Place in Bountiful, Utah. It was a chilly winter day but the venue was beautiful!  I met Troy & Rachel close to the end of 2013 when they invited me to photograph their little family. You can see their family session here. Their sweet, darling Ella is a heart stealer for sure… beautiful hair, blue eyes and sweet spirit. 🙂 I knew photographing their wedding would be fantastic and I was not disappointed.  Love this little family. So happy for them!

Meet the Alexander Family, home all together for Christmas this year and celebrating the occasion with a crisp, winter morning, family photo session. Absolutely love meeting and photographing families just like the Alexanders… so down to earth, full of laughs and so much fun. We may have frozen just a bit but they kept me laughing the whole way through.  Yep, loved them all for sure.  Kacee, so glad you found me and I hope that you and all the family find several images to love!  Alexanders, you’re welcome in front of my lens any day!! 🙂  Such a pleasure photographing you all.

Keeping up with a promise I made earlier in the year, today I’m sharing Circe’s beautiful family.  Circe’s girls will melt your heart like they did mine.  Such a beautiful family.  Such a beautiful session.  Makes my heart happy. I feel like celebrating!! Put me down for what I’d consider another fabulous year here at Little Lottie Photography. 🙂  It’s December and the last of my 2013 editing for all families, brides, babies & seniors is done.  If we’ve worked together this year and you gave me the privilege of photographing you or your family or both, I hope you’re enjoying your images and all we captured together. Looking back over the year I feel like cheering.  Such a great year full of lessons, chuck full of wonderful people I’ve met through photography and who I now call my friends…. thank you, THANK YOU!  I’m off to celebrate the holidays with family and I’ll see YOU in 2014!! 🙂

Love to welcome this beautiful family photo session to the Little Lottie blog today. Meet Troy, Rachel & Ella; this family has stolen my heart this week! Watching them through their session was just magical.  It’s easy to see they love and adore each other.  They came with the perfect amount of love, humor and patience to create a beautiful atmosphere for their session and it paid off.  Love everything we captured. Love the fall color.  Love the mint green and gray against the red brick. Love the expressions, the affection, the family. LOVE darling, sweet cheeks Ella!  Is she not just the cutest?? Family sessions like this are simply delicious! Enjoy!

It’s about time for this newborn photo session to make it’s way here to the blog.  The Scariano’s are an incredible couple and now… family.  They have waited many a patient moment for their own little miracle and finally… this beautiful little boy has graced their family.  Meet Tyson!  Could mom & dad look any happier or more in love! It’s evident that they will bless this little miracle baby’s life and anyone they meet along the way.  I loved this session and spending the day with Jenn & her hubby. I do believe that I have some of the neatest clients ever! 🙂 Enjoy!

It’s about time this darling little family had their session featured here on the blog.  This year has been the busiest Little Lottie has ever seen and I’ll be blogging several sessions from this summer that I’m just aching to share! 🙂  The Johansen’s, bless their hearts, are a wonderful family.  They were blown to pieces by the weather the first time we met.  They were such troopers and we were all shivering by the end.  We capped their session with a make-up mini session to round out their photo shoot with a few more family and kids poses.  Kori did an amazing job with wardrobe.  Love the bright, fun colors she chose.  Everything works together so well and each member of the family has their own unique look.  I couldn’t be more pleased and hope you enjoy browsing. 🙂

Logan is one now and boy is he a mover! 🙂  There was no sitting around for Logan’s 1 year portrait session which kept me and his momma on our toes.  He may have been fast but my camera was just a little faster (with mom’s help of course). We caught darling, candid and unique images.  They are so fun and make me smile every time I see them.  Full mouth smile, ball in one hand and feet on the move… just how a boy should be!  Happy first year Logan. Enjoy!
