One word comes to mind when I think about photographing senior pictures for Ellie, Class of 2014… RADIANT. 🙂 Yes, she absolutely glows from head to toe with absolutely beautiful, genuine happiness. I could not be more pleased with her session. We had such a fun evening playing with all kinds of backdrops in the Ogden area. Ellie was completely open and ready with a quick laugh and smile for whatever I asked her to do as we posed and giggled and shivered through her session. Such a great sport and I have to say that it all paid off. What a fun session Ellie! I hope you love what we captured. 🙂 Congrats Ellie, Class of 2014!

It’s about time this darling little family had their session featured here on the blog.  This year has been the busiest Little Lottie has ever seen and I’ll be blogging several sessions from this summer that I’m just aching to share! 🙂  The Johansen’s, bless their hearts, are a wonderful family.  They were blown to pieces by the weather the first time we met.  They were such troopers and we were all shivering by the end.  We capped their session with a make-up mini session to round out their photo shoot with a few more family and kids poses.  Kori did an amazing job with wardrobe.  Love the bright, fun colors she chose.  Everything works together so well and each member of the family has their own unique look.  I couldn’t be more pleased and hope you enjoy browsing. 🙂

Hanna is my darling, ‘all grown up’ neighbor and she is graduating… that’s right Class of 2013 Senior!  I’m so pleased to show off a few of Hanna’s senior photos here.  She is such a beautiful gal through and through and I absolutely love her dear family. We met one evening to photograph Hanna and had a great time!  We ended the evening on the mountain side doing some sports shots because Hanna is not only darling, she’s got skills… totally athletic.  Ummmm, jealous! Yep, can’t throw a softball straight to save my life. 😉 Anyway, we froze in that final little location but it gave us some really fun images and lots of great variety.  Hanna… you are an absolute doll.  I wish nothing but the best for you!  Enjoy!

Patrick, Joyce and I met at the Union Station for engagement photos which turned out to be a great combo.  They are such a classy couple and the downtown area fit them nicely.  I always love hearing my couple’s stories.  Patrick’s family is from Brazil and Joyce’s family is from the Philippines.  They have their advanced degrees in theology and are pursuing their careers.  The marriage date is set for the spring and then they will make their way back here to Utah.  Naturally, Joyce was interested in all the local activity.  Although I don’t know that I’m the best person to consult in matters of local happenings… 🙂  It’s easy to see that these two adore each other.  I loved Joyce’s choice of deep magenta and royal blues paired with black and her beautiful, creamy white coat.  Their images are so rich and full of color.  LOVE them.  So excited for you both!  I hope you find many images to love. 🙂

Jaycee is turning eight!  Wahoo!  Such a fun age and milestone as she prepares for her baptism.  The morning we met to photograph Jaycee turned out cloudy and a bit different than what we were expecting but we just ran with it and the results are unbeatable.  I’m so pleased with the morning and lighting and my sweet, young friend did such a great job in front of the camera.  Jaycee, you are such a FUN gal!  You are brimming with life and your personality is so fantastic and vibrant.  Loved your session!  Thanks for a great morning and a lot of super fun photography.  Enjoy and congratulations! 🙂

Ahhhh, newborn photography is so FuN! I love going into family’s homes to capture everyone and baby in their most natural environment.  I love to see a family relaxed and kicked back for a shoot and being at home just has a way of doing that!  Kids come alive when they’re in their own element.  It’s such a great job… doing this for new moms.  It’s something I wish I would have done when my little ones came… a photographer capturing all those newborn features right in the comfort of my own home. 🙂  Weston, this sweet little babe, was such a gem for his shoot.  Though, he would not hear of sleeping unless he was swaddled tight; mom knew just what to do and once he was bundled, he barely wiggled.  This sweet babe is a VERY loved bundle by mom, dad, sister and two brothers… lucky kid!  And at only 2 weeks old, Weston was fantastic to photograph; loved every minute of it!  Bobbi… can’t get over the beautiful natural light in your kitchen and how striking those photos turned out… thanks again for having me.  Enjoy! 🙂

Jennifer & Brock, your kiddos are just as sweet and choice as they come; such a BEAUTIFUL family!  Your photo shoot is really elegant…. I must say.  I only wish I could have captured more of Liv!  Can’t wait to do that for you!  Like I thought, the woods of the violins and even the beautiful color of your puppy really make the photos so warm and yummy.  I hope you EnJoY what we’ve captured and soon we’ll have several more of Liv to add! 🙂

This darling family gets my badge of honor today because they were brave enough to venture outside in December for family photos!  Yes it was chilly, but they brought enough cheer to go around several times over!!!  They kept me giggling the whole time. 🙂  Nancy’s family owns a ranch with wide open spaces and lots of wonderful room to run.  I can tell the kids love it there and have countless hours of memories built up to last a lifetime!  The morning we shot these, the fog had rolled in and left us with an enchanting, wintery feel and I’m loving it!  I had such a fun time getting to know Nancy & Jeff and their darling kiddos and that is why I am so excited to post these darling photos.  Fantastic work to each of you. Enjoy! 🙂

Ok, is this not the cutest family… seriously!  The WWII vintage in these family photos is VERY charming.  I’m loving it!  Maren has always loved the WWII planes and her husband just happens to be a pilot and so this location became the perfect choice for their family pictures.  The beautiful window light made for some striking family photos and some individuals as well.  Can I just say that the women in this family are BEAUTIFUL and I’m sure that Steve would heartily agree! 🙂  Hope you love what we captured.
