Just typing Russ & Emma’s names after the word engagement makes me smile. Meet Russ & Emma here on the blog today. Such a pleasure working with these two to capture their engagement photographs. I can never say it enough about my wonderful clients. Every time I meet a new client, I am always amazed at what wonderful people I get to work with and photograph. Russ & Emma, you two are such a great couple and your kiddos are lucky to have you both. Emma, we got you through that little nervous bug and hit a home run with handfuls of romantic, beautiful images. A great big thanks to you both for sticking in there and placing your trust in me. May 20, 2014A quick sneak peek for Mckay & Sara here on the blog tonight. These two are set to be married next month and I am so excited to share a bit of their beautiful, evening engagement session here on the blog. I stumbled upon this lovely little location during a family hike and I was quick to file it away as an idea for a future session. When Mckay & Sara contacted me, I knew this was the spot for them and their engagement photos. It doesn’t get any better than combining beautiful location, incredible evening light and one very darling, very in love couple. 😉 So pleased with everything about this session. Enjoy!
How does one get so lucky to photograph such an incredible couple in such amazing light… engagement sessions like this keep me dreaming all through the night. Yes they do! 😉 The light, the scenery, the green of spring… perfect. Meet Ryan & Keelie, set to be married this month at the beautiful Beehive House in Salt Lake City. Such a fun evening with these two. We squeaked out a few family photographs in the beginning and then dove right in for the last bit of the session to capture these beautiful set of engagements. April 29, 2014Making their appearance on the blog today with their lovely, sun filled engagement session is Matt & Kirsten. What a great looking couple! Definitely love birds… 🙂 I have loved working with these two who are set to be married ‘oh so soon’ in the Brigham City LDS Temple. Can’t wait for their wedding day. Early spring engagement sessions are some of my favorites. Everything is just emerging. Colors are vibrant and the light is so soft and romantic. It doesn’t get much better than this. Matt & Kirsten did their engagements in one of my all time favorite spring locations, a little local orchard. This little spot never fails to yield simply beautiful images and light. 🙂 Enjoy!
Logan Utah Engagement Photographer – Tim & Lola
April 17, 2014I knew when Tim & Lola contacted me for their Logan, Utah engagement session that we were going to be a wonderful match! Lola & Tim both knew they wanted a beautiful, open space with mountains and views of the valley for their session. They came so ready and full of fun to the session that I think we accomplished exactly what we were after… a fun, romantic feel. Can I just say that getting to know these two and spending the evening photographing them, I walked away feeling like one lucky photographer. I just adore my clients and the trust they place in me to capture their love. So honored! Tim & Lola, you two are wonderful and I cannot say enough about you both… just simply wonderful people. Ogden Utah Engagement Photographer – John & Melissa
October 24, 2013John & Melissa’s engagement session was a perfect mix of soft light, fall colors and two beautiful people completely in love. Add in a dash of great humor and we had a very fun evening showing off their love. Both John & Melissa are from Indiana. John is currently working at Weber State while Melissa is finishing her degree back in Indiana. When they found me, Melissa was coming to Utah to visit and because they are such an outdoorsy kind of couple, it was only natural to take their session to the Utah mountains. So glad we did. This engagement session has such a beautiful feel and I’m so excited to pass on a few of my favorites for you all to enjoy. 🙂 John & Melissa, I’m honored to be a part of this incredible time in life for you both. Thank you!
Ogden, Utah Engagement Photographer – Daniel & Kaylee
October 16, 2013Here’s the second half of Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session. These two were married this past weekend and I can now share all these beautiful engagement images… and shout from the rooftops what an amazing couple these two are. She’s a massage therapist and Daniel is an Engineer (Daniel, correct me if I’m wrong) …there’s way more to both of them but let’s just say they’re two smart cookies. They are kind, down to earth, smart, funny and quirky. Their perfect amount of ‘silly’ kept me laughing all through their engagement session and was completely endearing. When we parted ways, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day because I knew it was going to be fabulous and I was right! 🙂 Stay tuned for a sneak peek into their wedding day at the LDS Salt Lake City Temple.
Salt Lake City, Utah Engagement Photographer – Daniel & Kaylee
October 16, 2013Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session in Salt Lake City, Utah was one of the most unusual locations I’ve worked at to date AND I loved it! A group of artists in Salt Lake City have filled this long length of wall with their work and it created the bold, striking backdrop we had envisioned for these two love birds. I knew from this first session with Daniel & Kaylee that I was going to love working with them and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day. Really, I have the most amazing clients… REALLY wonderful people. So, fun location, great couple, amazing light… can it get any better than this? 🙂 Love these two!
Ogden Utah Engagement Photographer – Josh & Emily
July 19, 2013Here’s the spring photo session for newlyweds, Josh & Emily, who are capturing their first year of marriage with a photo session for every season. We met up one evening at the lovely, Logan temple. The sunlight was beautiful and we had a fantastic time tromping round the grounds. Every time I put the camera to my eye, it seemed there was another well wisher for Josh & Emily… congratulating them on their apparent engagement. 😉 We all knew better but I figured they might as well just start saying ‘thank you’ because they are just as in love and just as cute as any engaged couple I’ve met. No need to explain… we just enjoyed the moments and rolled with it! And look what we captured. Couldn’t be more pleased!
