Spring has a way of luring the photographer in me outside… camera in hand, to my own little orchard to see what I can see.  The yard is somewhat wild and so I love the challenge of finding beauty in the wild sections of the orchard.  LoVe the spring blossoms… love photographing them even more.  So, just for fun…. enjoy!

This sweet, darling mom suggested doing her family photography session and Afton’s 6 month photos in her grandmother’s home and on her porch.  I knew there would be great light as long as we had sunshine and did we ever!  I have been so excited to show this darling family their session because I am quite in love with it…. IN LOVE!!!  I haven’t been able to pull myself away from their library of delicious photos.  The love just pours from these images and makes me all soft inside.  Rori, you are beautiful!!!  I still want that secret recipe for looking so good just months after having sweet little Afton… 🙂  You have the cutest style!  I love what we captured inside as well… don’t you?  I hope you are as pleased with the results as I am and here’s to finding many of your photos to love!

All I can say is WOW!  We shot the Fisher’s children & family photos with natural light, on location… right in their own home!  Could there be an easier way to do family photos? Just hang out right at home and let the photographer come to you…  sounds great to me!  This photo shoot is a fantastic example of the beauty of natural light that exists right in the walls of your own home.  Got a bit of space and some big windows that let in the light… well, what are you waiting for!?  Grab the camera and get to snapping; you may just surprise yourself!!! We settled ourselves in the middle of this darling family’s living room, just opposite their 3 large picture windows and got right to shooting.  A few days later and wha’la, a great big bunch of super stylin’ photos.  And will you all agree with me that this is ONE photogenic family…. Wow,wow, WOW! 🙂  I ‘heart’ these faces.  Great job you guys, enjoy!

Newborn photography is so fun, especially when I get to go into my clients homes, meet all the family and capture new mom and baby in their most natural, comfortable environment.  I just wish I’d had a photographer come do that for me when my little ones were born….  really, why not!? I would have LOVED that! 🙂  Well, miss Maya was such a little gem for her shoot and I dearly love her mom too.  This sweet babe was a very anticipated little bundle and at only 10 days old, she was very sleepy and easy-peasy to photograph.  I loved every minute of it!

I am absolutely in love with this wonderful family and I just adore that these sisters ended the photo shoot in bare feet… the perfect moment to snap a photo.  Now, if only little sister thought the idea was great too, we’d have… well, let’s just say that I love the photo just the way it is… real.  What a darling group of sisters.  I don’t think they could be any cuter if they tried.  This morning shoot was such a wonderful treat! 🙂

The darling mom of these two sweethearts asked me to take some photos that she could use as a gift for father’s day… what a fantastic idea! 🙂  I’m so glad it worked out.  The weather was lovely and Valerie’s new home and yard is breathtaking… simply beautiful.  I think I might just consider moving myself! 🙂  Enjoy!

Spring is in the air and nothing says it better than a day of dancing with bubbles… even if you’re 9 years old! 🙂  We spent a few moments in the yard today after the snow finally melted.  We all needed to stretch our legs and somehow remind mother nature that it’s supposed to be warm and sunny…. and so out came the bubbles and all three of my little ones danced around while I went right on snapping away.  Pictured is my oldest, Gracie.  I’m such a lucky mom!

Here’s part 2 of this darling little 6 month old’s photo shoot .  What a gem!

This handsome little fella is such a charmer, believe me!  In fact, within the first few moments of arriving to photograph him, he sweetly leaned over from his momma’s arms to let me hold him.  I literally melted right there and the rest of the afternoon was just a dream.  Isn’t window light so beautiful and little Owen soooo handsome? 🙂
