Being invited to photograph and see wonderful families like the Sneddon’s sealed together is nearly impossible to top. Really, look at each of their faces… they are a family that glows. So beautiful, inside and out! I’ve known the Sneddon family ever since moving to the Ogden area and it was incredible to see the amount of love, excitement and support from neighbors, friends and family as they all gathered to celebrate this special day at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. The grounds were incredible. The family was beautiful all dressed in white and it was just a few short weeks ago. Lori, I hope we captured your vision. I am SO honored and so very happy for you and your family. 🙂

Senior pictures for Riley were simply delicious! Riley is as sweet as they come and is such a classic beauty. How do I get so lucky to photograph such amazing seniors. Cream of the crop! I don’t think I was anywhere near as gracious when I was her age. I am so impressed by her sweet nature and it was so fun to play and tease just a bit. Her clothing choices were perfection… love this girl’s style. Having her mom along for the session was also so fun. Once I found out what a close pair Riley and her mom were, there was no way I wasn’t getting them both together in a few photos. I think my last minute request for mom to step into the photos surprised her mom but the images are priceless. So happy to have snatched a few. 🙂 Riley, you are beautiful inside and out!

Aidan and his family joined me when fall colors were in full array and we had a wonderful evening playing and creating some very fun, very memorable family pictures. Kristena, your ideas were absolutely top notch and added such a sense of playfulness to your session. It was perfect! Perfect for a boy! Nothing is quite as fun as capturing pure personality and Aidan, you are just bursting with it. What better way to have fun throughout a photo session than to bring along frogs, balloons, tickle fights and wagon rides all evening long. I walked away from this session full of chuckles. So fun! Kristena, thank you, thank you for inviting me to photograph you all. So happy to have your images in my portfolio! Hope you love what we captured. 🙂

Family photographs with Mike & Christa’s little bunch was and has always been such a treat! I met this little family before little brother joined the family and was so happy to get the chance to have them in front of my lens again. My heart and my lens are captivated by their beautiful session and faces. Christa did an incredible job of picking her family’s clothing for this session and when we were planning the session, Christa mentioned that there was this lovely piece of property right behind her mother’s home. The day of the session, weather could have gone either way. We held our breath and when the session time arrived, we went for it and were beautifully rewarded with this touchable soft, dreamy session. Oh, I do love how it all came together. Thank you mother nature for the beautiful romantic gray clouds and to Mike & Christa for inviting me to capture your sweet little family once again.

Welcome Liam, the cutest little man on the planet, to the Little Lottie blog today. Liam’s mom and dad invited me to capture Liam when he was fresh from heaven and we had a wonderful newborn session then (you can see it here). Can it be that it’s already been a year? Well, this darling, grown up Liam is proof that is has and don’t those big brown eyes of his just steal your heart!? 🙂 They do mine! Well, this little nook of lovely light and green is right next to my home and every so often, I get the chance to use it in a session and I truly love the way little ones photograph here. I’ve been so anxious to share Liam’s images here on the blog so please enjoy! 🙂

Meet Charles & Jenae, parents to this good looking group of people. 🙂 It’s so fun to meet families in groups like this because each has its own flavor. Charles & Jenae’s family is absolutely charming and full of laughs for sure. Could not have asked for a better group or a better night. The light was delightfully cooperative and the park was brimming with flowers and all things green. So pleased with all the fun, romantic images we captured and hope this darling family finds many to love! 🙂

A quick peek into Clayton & Jenna’s family session. Such soft, beautiful light and such a darling, wonderful family is absolutely worth sharing. Meet Clayton and Jenna, mom and dad to these beautiful little ones. Oh what a beautiful evening we had up in the mountains! 🙂 I can never get enough of that valley evening light. Thank you, thank you Clayton & Jenna for inviting me to photograph your beautiful little family. Hope you find many images to love. 🙂

So pleased to share a few from Zac & Ivy’s family photo session from earlier in the fall.  We met at a local park, bright and early… early enough that the sun hadn’t yet poked it’s head over the mountain.  I assured Ivy that the early hour would be worth it if her little ones were pleasant little morning people.  She assured me that they were and that we’d have much better luck early morning than the evening.  So, we went for it!  It was CHILLY! So chilly that the grass was covered by a heavy coat of glistening frost and it crunched under our feet. However, the little ones were troopers and Zac & Ivy’s session turned out to be a favorite fall session.  Loved the look of the frosty covered green.  A perfect match to their navy and green ensemble. 🙂  Ivy, so glad we went for it.  Hopefully all those chilly memories have faded into wonderful, warm enjoyment of these beautiful family photos. 😉

Meet the Alexander Family, home all together for Christmas this year and celebrating the occasion with a crisp, winter morning, family photo session. Absolutely love meeting and photographing families just like the Alexanders… so down to earth, full of laughs and so much fun. We may have frozen just a bit but they kept me laughing the whole way through.  Yep, loved them all for sure.  Kacee, so glad you found me and I hope that you and all the family find several images to love!  Alexanders, you’re welcome in front of my lens any day!! 🙂  Such a pleasure photographing you all.

Keeping up with a promise I made earlier in the year, today I’m sharing Circe’s beautiful family.  Circe’s girls will melt your heart like they did mine.  Such a beautiful family.  Such a beautiful session.  Makes my heart happy. I feel like celebrating!! Put me down for what I’d consider another fabulous year here at Little Lottie Photography. 🙂  It’s December and the last of my 2013 editing for all families, brides, babies & seniors is done.  If we’ve worked together this year and you gave me the privilege of photographing you or your family or both, I hope you’re enjoying your images and all we captured together. Looking back over the year I feel like cheering.  Such a great year full of lessons, chuck full of wonderful people I’ve met through photography and who I now call my friends…. thank you, THANK YOU!  I’m off to celebrate the holidays with family and I’ll see YOU in 2014!! 🙂
