This was an evening of pure fun for me… photographing this darling couple. Nick & Kacee are soon expecting their first baby… a girl! Aren’t those pink shoes to die for!? 🙂 I met Nick & Kacee in the winter of 2013 when they booked my services to photograph their extended family who were getting together for the holidays.  You can see that session here. 🙂 We had a fantastic time laughing and shooting and right toward the end of the session, Kacee and her sisters decided they wanted something special… that’s when I found out that Nick & Kacee were expecting. So excited to see time march on and to get to photograph these two as such an incredibly special time in life. Kacee & Nick, you two are going to be great parents! So happy for you both. Enjoy!

A quick peek into Clayton & Jenna’s family session. Such soft, beautiful light and such a darling, wonderful family is absolutely worth sharing. Meet Clayton and Jenna, mom and dad to these beautiful little ones. Oh what a beautiful evening we had up in the mountains! 🙂 I can never get enough of that valley evening light. Thank you, thank you Clayton & Jenna for inviting me to photograph your beautiful little family. Hope you find many images to love. 🙂

Making their appearance on the blog today with their lovely, sun filled engagement session is Matt & Kirsten. What a great looking couple! Definitely love birds… 🙂 I have loved working with these two who are set to be married ‘oh so soon’ in the Brigham City LDS Temple. Can’t wait for their wedding day. Early spring engagement sessions are some of my favorites. Everything is just emerging. Colors are vibrant and the light is so soft and romantic. It doesn’t get much better than this. Matt & Kirsten did their engagements in one of my all time favorite spring locations, a little local orchard. This little spot never fails to yield simply beautiful images and light. 🙂 Enjoy!

I knew when Tim & Lola contacted me for their Logan, Utah engagement session that we were going to be a wonderful match! Lola & Tim both knew they wanted a beautiful, open space with mountains and views of the valley for their session. They came so ready and full of fun to the session that I think we accomplished exactly what we were after… a fun, romantic feel. Can I just say that getting to know these two and spending the evening photographing them, I walked away feeling like one lucky photographer. I just adore my clients and the trust they place in me to capture their love.  So honored! Tim & Lola, you two are wonderful and I cannot say enough about you both… just simply wonderful people. Your love is absolutely breath taking. Enjoy! 🙂

Here’s the second half of Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session.  These two were married this past weekend and I can now share all these beautiful engagement images… and shout from the rooftops what an amazing couple these two are.  She’s a massage therapist and Daniel is an Engineer (Daniel, correct me if I’m wrong) …there’s way more to both of them but let’s just say they’re two smart cookies.  They are kind, down to earth, smart, funny and quirky.  Their perfect amount of ‘silly’ kept me laughing all through their engagement session and was completely endearing.  When we parted ways, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day because I knew it was going to be fabulous and I was right! 🙂 Stay tuned for a sneak peek into their wedding day at the LDS Salt Lake City Temple.

Here’s the spring photo session for newlyweds, Josh & Emily, who are capturing their first year of marriage with a photo session for every season.  We met up one evening at the lovely, Logan temple.  The sunlight was beautiful and we had a fantastic time tromping round the grounds.  Every time I put the camera to my eye, it seemed there was another well wisher for Josh & Emily… congratulating them on their apparent engagement. 😉 We all knew better but I figured they might as well just start saying ‘thank you’ because they are just as in love and just as cute as any engaged couple I’ve met.  No need to explain… we just enjoyed the moments and rolled with it!  And look what we captured.  Couldn’t be more pleased! Enjoy!

Loved this little morning family session with Zech & Elizabeth and their three beautiful children.  I LOVE meeting wonderful families like Zech & Elizabeth’s.  From the moment we met until we parted ways at the end of their session, I just adored them.  Such great people and I am so lucky to get to work with such amazing families!  So down to earth with LOTS of love within their little family circle… you can feel it in their images and I adore that.  Fantastic wardrobe choices too, Elizabeth!  Couldn’t have planned it better myself!  Hope you find lots to love from all we captured.  Enjoy!  Oh yes… stay tuned for a few more images of just Zech & Elizabeth… they’ll make you melt!

Sheri found me a while back and invited me to do a session for her and her family.  We talked about a style that would fit her and the rest of the family and it was decided that they each had a fair share of country in them.  Of course, with three beautiful girls in the mix with all that barn wood, dirt and weeds… there was bound to be a softer side as well.  We settled on this nearby barn for the location.  The day turned out overcast and gratefully the rain held off until the final few moments of the session.  What I didn’t anticipate were all these beautiful, ‘full of love’ images of Jake and Sheri.  I always love to grab a couple shots of just the couple when I do a family session… and this particular day was no exception.  Once we had finished up the majority of the shoot, I pulled Jake and Sheri aside for a couple quick shots.  I think every single shot just made my heart melt as I edited their session and by the time I finished, I just had to share them all here.  They are worth sharing!!!  Sheri… your images are just fabulous…. breathtaking.  Your girls could not be any luckier to have you both.  What a beautiful family and a ‘very much in love’ momma and papa!  Loved every minute… enjoy!

This was so much fun because these two were SO comfortable in front of the camera – they were 100% themselves.  We had a great time shooting and we got tons of great shots in no time at all… photographing couples in love is just sooooo easy.  I love it!  Enjoy your pics, Jim and Lita. 🙂

Why have I absolutely LOVED every moment of this shoot with Marvin and Diane… every time I see these photos, I just go all soft inside and I realize that I’m probably a very hopeless romantic.  Isn’t it what we all want when we’re seventy… love and someone to share it with?  I can’t imagine anything better. 🙂  Love simply oozes from their photos and I adore it.  It is also worth mentioning that this beautiful lady is the mother of my very wonderful, supportive husband and her sweetheart is just as wonderful as she is.  Aren’t I so lucky!
