Just so in love with Rachel’s images from her and Troy’s wedding day.  As I prep to present their wedding day images, I just can’t help but share another elegant image from the day. Rachel, half of what makes this image so beautiful is that you are such a sweet woman yourself. It accentuates the beautiful woman you already are. Thanks again for allowing us the opportunity to photograph such an incredible day for you and Troy. 🙂 Happy Valentines!

So pleased to share a few from Zac & Ivy’s family photo session from earlier in the fall.  We met at a local park, bright and early… early enough that the sun hadn’t yet poked it’s head over the mountain.  I assured Ivy that the early hour would be worth it if her little ones were pleasant little morning people.  She assured me that they were and that we’d have much better luck early morning than the evening.  So, we went for it!  It was CHILLY! So chilly that the grass was covered by a heavy coat of glistening frost and it crunched under our feet. However, the little ones were troopers and Zac & Ivy’s session turned out to be a favorite fall session.  Loved the look of the frosty covered green.  A perfect match to their navy and green ensemble. 🙂  Ivy, so glad we went for it.  Hopefully all those chilly memories have faded into wonderful, warm enjoyment of these beautiful family photos. 😉

So happy to share a few of Troy & Rachel’s wedding day photos today here on the blog. The happy couple exchanged vows just a few days ago at the beautiful Canterbury Place in Bountiful, Utah. It was a chilly winter day but the venue was beautiful!  I met Troy & Rachel close to the end of 2013 when they invited me to photograph their little family. You can see their family session here. Their sweet, darling Ella is a heart stealer for sure… beautiful hair, blue eyes and sweet spirit. 🙂 I knew photographing their wedding would be fantastic and I was not disappointed.  Love this little family. So happy for them!

Meet the Alexander Family, home all together for Christmas this year and celebrating the occasion with a crisp, winter morning, family photo session. Absolutely love meeting and photographing families just like the Alexanders… so down to earth, full of laughs and so much fun. We may have frozen just a bit but they kept me laughing the whole way through.  Yep, loved them all for sure.  Kacee, so glad you found me and I hope that you and all the family find several images to love!  Alexanders, you’re welcome in front of my lens any day!! 🙂  Such a pleasure photographing you all.

Keeping up with a promise I made earlier in the year, today I’m sharing Circe’s beautiful family.  Circe’s girls will melt your heart like they did mine.  Such a beautiful family.  Such a beautiful session.  Makes my heart happy. I feel like celebrating!! Put me down for what I’d consider another fabulous year here at Little Lottie Photography. 🙂  It’s December and the last of my 2013 editing for all families, brides, babies & seniors is done.  If we’ve worked together this year and you gave me the privilege of photographing you or your family or both, I hope you’re enjoying your images and all we captured together. Looking back over the year I feel like cheering.  Such a great year full of lessons, chuck full of wonderful people I’ve met through photography and who I now call my friends…. thank you, THANK YOU!  I’m off to celebrate the holidays with family and I’ll see YOU in 2014!! 🙂

Love to welcome this beautiful family photo session to the Little Lottie blog today. Meet Troy, Rachel & Ella; this family has stolen my heart this week! Watching them through their session was just magical.  It’s easy to see they love and adore each other.  They came with the perfect amount of love, humor and patience to create a beautiful atmosphere for their session and it paid off.  Love everything we captured. Love the fall color.  Love the mint green and gray against the red brick. Love the expressions, the affection, the family. LOVE darling, sweet cheeks Ella!  Is she not just the cutest?? Family sessions like this are simply delicious! Enjoy!

Daniel & Kaylee… meet this beautiful couple, married in the LDS Salt Lake Temple just a month ago.  I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images with you. Weather the day of their wedding at the Salt Lake Temple could not have been more beautiful.  Sun, perfect temperatures and light cloud cover a short time before they exited the temple.  We spent the morning capturing some beautiful images from the getting ready moments and enjoyed a whole day with this wonderful couple and their families.  Daniel & Kaylee are the perfect mix of two beautiful people who know how to have a great time and keep everyone smiling around them… myself included.  Love these two to pieces and after meeting their families, it’s easy to see why they are such incredible people.  Gorgeous, wonderful couple…. beautiful day….. Enjoy!

Had Tyler & Toby and their beautiful kiddos together for a family photo shoot in Ogden, Utah the other night.  It is probably one of the last days of fall family photography for the year as snow begins to move in.  Tyler is an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad and knew of this great bridge with tracks that are not in use.  Perfect!  The river was just a few steps away and that gave us all the variety we needed for a sweet family session.  Tyler and Toby are both just fantastic people and so fun to spend my evening photographing them.  Love it when families are so laid back and casual.  My favorite moment of the session… photographing Tyler & Toby. I just happen to be a bit of a romantic! 🙂

John & Melissa’s engagement session was a perfect mix of soft light, fall colors and two beautiful people completely in love. Add in a dash of great humor and we had a very fun evening showing off their love.  Both John & Melissa are from Indiana. John is currently working at Weber State while Melissa is finishing her degree back in Indiana.  When they found me, Melissa was coming to Utah to visit and because they are such an outdoorsy kind of couple, it was only natural to take their session to the Utah mountains.  So glad we did.  This engagement session has such a beautiful feel and I’m so excited to pass on a few of my favorites for you all to enjoy. 🙂  John & Melissa, I’m honored to be a part of this incredible time in life for you both.  Thank you!

Here’s the second half of Daniel & Kaylee’s engagement session.  These two were married this past weekend and I can now share all these beautiful engagement images… and shout from the rooftops what an amazing couple these two are.  She’s a massage therapist and Daniel is an Engineer (Daniel, correct me if I’m wrong) …there’s way more to both of them but let’s just say they’re two smart cookies.  They are kind, down to earth, smart, funny and quirky.  Their perfect amount of ‘silly’ kept me laughing all through their engagement session and was completely endearing.  When we parted ways, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day because I knew it was going to be fabulous and I was right! 🙂 Stay tuned for a sneak peek into their wedding day at the LDS Salt Lake City Temple.
