Matt & Kirsten opted to do their formals before the day of their wedding in order to allow things to run smoother the day of the wedding when time is tight and the crowds are large. What a fun night with these two! Absolutely loved Kirsten’s hair and dress. I couldn’t wait to see her bouquet and it ended up being just fabulous. Love photographing brides and grooms this way because things are so relaxed and wonderfully easy! 🙂 Matt & Kirsten were married in the Brigham City LDS Temple just about a month after we photographed these images so watch for more images of Matt & Kirsten here on the blog. If you’re curious and want to check out their engagement session, you can see that here. Enjoy! 🙂

Just typing Russ & Emma’s names after the word engagement makes me smile. Meet Russ & Emma here on the blog today. Such a pleasure working with these two to capture their engagement photographs. I can never say it enough about my wonderful clients. Every time I meet a new client, I am always amazed at what wonderful people I get to work with and photograph. Russ & Emma, you two are such a great couple and your kiddos are lucky to have you both. Emma, we got you through that little nervous bug and hit a home run with handfuls of romantic, beautiful images. A great big thanks to you both for sticking in there and placing your trust in me. It paid off. I’m so pleased with your images and hope you and Russ are as well. Enjoy! 🙂

A quick sneak peek for Mckay & Sara here on the blog tonight. These two are set to be married next month and I am so excited to share a bit of their beautiful, evening engagement session here on the blog. I stumbled upon this lovely little location during a family hike and I was quick to file it away as an idea for a future session. When Mckay & Sara contacted me, I knew this was the spot for them and their engagement photos. It doesn’t get any better than combining beautiful location, incredible evening light and one very darling, very in love couple. 😉 So pleased with everything about this session. Enjoy!

How does one get so lucky to photograph such an incredible couple in such amazing light… engagement sessions like this keep me dreaming all through the night.  Yes they do! 😉 The light, the scenery, the green of spring… perfect. Meet Ryan & Keelie, set to be married this month at the beautiful Beehive House in Salt Lake City. Such a fun evening with these two. We squeaked out a few family photographs in the beginning and then dove right in for the last bit of the session to capture these beautiful set of engagements. Seriously can’t wait for their wedding day and so happy to have their beautiful smiles here on the blog. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Making their appearance on the blog today with their lovely, sun filled engagement session is Matt & Kirsten. What a great looking couple! Definitely love birds… 🙂 I have loved working with these two who are set to be married ‘oh so soon’ in the Brigham City LDS Temple. Can’t wait for their wedding day. Early spring engagement sessions are some of my favorites. Everything is just emerging. Colors are vibrant and the light is so soft and romantic. It doesn’t get much better than this. Matt & Kirsten did their engagements in one of my all time favorite spring locations, a little local orchard. This little spot never fails to yield simply beautiful images and light. 🙂 Enjoy!

I knew when Tim & Lola contacted me for their Logan, Utah engagement session that we were going to be a wonderful match! Lola & Tim both knew they wanted a beautiful, open space with mountains and views of the valley for their session. They came so ready and full of fun to the session that I think we accomplished exactly what we were after… a fun, romantic feel. Can I just say that getting to know these two and spending the evening photographing them, I walked away feeling like one lucky photographer. I just adore my clients and the trust they place in me to capture their love.  So honored! Tim & Lola, you two are wonderful and I cannot say enough about you both… just simply wonderful people. Your love is absolutely breath taking. Enjoy! 🙂

I just can’t help but share a little peek into what I’m working on tonight, an incredibly beautiful engagement session for the lovely T & L. SO in love with this session. The light. The views. The smiles. The sweet, genuine affection. So full of love and so elegantly classic! 🙂 I am so blessed to work with such incredible clients. Truly wonderful people! Can’t wait to share more. Promise… they are coming soon! 😉

A quick share of an Autumn senior session I did with Mikaela, Class of 2014. Isn’t she just a doll? 🙂 Love photographing seniors. Life is so full of exciting possibilities and there are bound to be all kinds of changes when the rest of your life is before you. 😉 For Mikaela’s session, we traveled up North and kept our eyes open for any little spot that fit our fancy.  Mikaela brought along her guitar and I brought along a funky little retro chair. We ventured through trails and out into clearing and found beautiful fall color everywhere we turned. Such a perfect match for Mikaela’s ‘fall’ colored hair and eyes, don’t you think? 🙂 Congrats sweetheart… life is going to be good!

Just so in love with Rachel’s images from her and Troy’s wedding day.  As I prep to present their wedding day images, I just can’t help but share another elegant image from the day. Rachel, half of what makes this image so beautiful is that you are such a sweet woman yourself. It accentuates the beautiful woman you already are. Thanks again for allowing us the opportunity to photograph such an incredible day for you and Troy. 🙂 Happy Valentines!

So pleased to share a few from Zac & Ivy’s family photo session from earlier in the fall.  We met at a local park, bright and early… early enough that the sun hadn’t yet poked it’s head over the mountain.  I assured Ivy that the early hour would be worth it if her little ones were pleasant little morning people.  She assured me that they were and that we’d have much better luck early morning than the evening.  So, we went for it!  It was CHILLY! So chilly that the grass was covered by a heavy coat of glistening frost and it crunched under our feet. However, the little ones were troopers and Zac & Ivy’s session turned out to be a favorite fall session.  Loved the look of the frosty covered green.  A perfect match to their navy and green ensemble. 🙂  Ivy, so glad we went for it.  Hopefully all those chilly memories have faded into wonderful, warm enjoyment of these beautiful family photos. 😉
